Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Unelo app, unelo.app, and related translation services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable Apple App Store terms. If you disagree, do not use Unelo.

Unelo provides Quick text translation, recorded-audio translation, and live interpretation, with related local playback, History, points, subscriptions, and purchase restoration.

You purchase access to Unelo’s service—not a particular model, API token, or permanently fixed AI provider. Models, routes, and providers may change after quality, safety, cost, and compatibility review.

Unelo currently creates a Supabase anonymous member when you first use a provider feature, purchase, or restore. A name or email registration is generally not required.

Protect your device and system accounts. You may not resell access, tamper with credentials, claim another person’s transaction, or use multiple sessions to evade service limits. Reinstalling, changing devices, or deleting the account may make local History unrecoverable.

Before using text, recording, or Live, you may need to consent to necessary content being sent to OpenAI and other necessary AI services for transcription, language detection, and translation.

You may cancel or withdraw consent. Without valid consent, Unelo blocks new third-party AI requests and cannot complete those translation features.

AI, speech recognition, language detection, and network delivery can produce mistranslations, omissions, delays, duplicates, incomplete, or inappropriate results. Noise, accents, multiple speakers, connectivity, and provider conditions may affect quality.

Do not use Unelo output as medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety-critical, or other professional advice. Content affecting rights, money, health, safety, or major decisions should be checked by a qualified person or original source.

You retain rights in content you submit and permit Unelo and necessary providers to process it only as needed to deliver, protect, meter, recover, and improve service reliability.

You represent that you may lawfully submit the content and will not use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, trade secrets, personal-data rights, or other third-party rights. Unelo does not acquire ownership merely by providing processing tools.

Text, recording, and Live share Unelo points. The server reserves, settles, or releases points based on normalized text volume, valid recording seconds, or trusted Live seconds and the applicable point-rate version.

Points should settle only after a complete usable result. Failed or incomplete work releases reservations under system rules. The app may show only total available points and not provider cost, per-request estimates, or internal formulas.

Points are not money, deposits, or transferable assets. They cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, transferred, or used outside Unelo.

Eligible anonymous members currently may receive a one-time 1,000-point trial before the first provider request, expiring 30 days after server grant. DeviceCheck, member state, network limits, and budget controls determine eligibility.

A device may qualify only once. Trial or promotion amounts, periods, and eligibility may change for future offers; points already shown or granted remain subject to the conditions attached at that time.

Lite and Standard are auto-renewing subscriptions sold through Apple. The StoreKit confirmation screen controls the actual price and currency.

Current product settings replenish 10,000 points per Lite period and 40,000 per Standard period. Unused subscription points do not roll over. Future plan contents and prices may change, with existing-price changes handled under Apple’s rules.

Billing Grace preserves access only when Apple provides valid, unexpired verified grace evidence and does not issue duplicate period points.

Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID and managed by Apple. Unless canceled under Apple’s rules before the current period ends, a plan may renew automatically.

Use Apple subscription management to review, change, or cancel. Restore Purchase can link a valid plan to the current anonymous member, but restores only plan and server points—not local History from another device.

Apple decides refunds, revocations, and payment disputes. Unelo cannot issue an App Store refund directly. Deleting the Unelo account or app does not cancel the Apple subscription.

Beta, Early Access, or experimental features may have increased delay, interruption, quality changes, time limits, or a single-active-session restriction. Live interpretation is currently Beta.

We may limit, suspend, or adjust features for maintenance, capacity, security, provider rate limits, billing, law, or third-party outages. We do not guarantee that every feature, language, voice, or model remains permanently available.

Do not use Unelo to violate law or rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security, metering, or limits, manipulate DeviceCheck, trials, or transactions, make abusive automated calls, resell the service, or interfere with users or infrastructure.

We may reject requests, restrict features, or disable an anonymous member when we reasonably identify security, fraud, infringement, illegality, or serious abuse risk.

The Unelo name, marks, interface, code, design, documentation, and original content are protected by intellectual-property law. Except where law or written permission allows, you may not copy, modify, distribute, rent, resell, or build derivative services.

Apple, OpenAI, Supabase, Cloudflare, Superwall, and other third-party names and technologies remain owned by their respective rights holders.

You may stop using Unelo or delete the anonymous account in the app. Deletion clears member-linked content and local data while retaining necessary de-linked accounting, usage, and Apple transaction evidence.

A later provider action may create a new anonymous member, which is not guaranteed another trial. Cancel an Apple subscription separately through Apple subscription management.

The service is provided as available. We use reasonable care but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, perfectly accurate translations, or fitness for your particular purpose.

To the extent allowed by law, Unelo is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss caused by translation reliance, third-party providers, outages, a lost device, cleared local History, or failed recovery. Non-waivable consumer rights and statutory liability remain unaffected.

We may update these Terms as features, plans, providers, or law change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after an update means acceptance, except where law requires another process.
